Absinthesalon is a small and intimate establishment with a maximum
capacity for 30 seated guests. For this reason it is advisable to
make a reservation for Fridays and Saturdays to be
assured of a table. However feel free to drop by
regardless as we may have space available.
Wednesdays and Thursdays tend to see our regular
absintheurs return for the quieter absinthe sessions.
Authentic absinthe is a long drink and takes time in its preparation
and imbibing so allow yourself an hour to an hour and a half to
enjoy the ritual and savour the various tastes.
If you have not had an authentic absinthe before ... never fear,
as our debonair hosts will explain the whole ritual, help you
choose an absinthe and show you how to prepare it.
Before you can say... 'I take it with sugar' you will be
well on your way to connoisseur status.
Due to a high demand for an absinthe session on Fridays and
Saturdays, combined with our small capacity, we have a
maximum booking of 6 people.
Larger groups can be catered for at particular times by
prior arrangement so please call us for details.
